SiTC Youth Academy
You said, we did!
For the last few years we have frequently been asked to provide a camp that is specifically for ‘older’ children. So, SiTC introduces our Youth Academy. This is specifically designed for children aged 11 and 12 years of age. (Once they are 13 they join our champions program).
You cannot be any younger than 11 years of age at the time of camp. This will happen at a specific location and will only be available for campers that are of the required age. This has been put in place to ensure that campers are competing against their own age group.
So, if you are a parent/guardian that is struggling to get them motivated to be away from their phone and ipad then this could be the answer. The lure of competing against their peer group may be enough to get them excited about camp. We will sometimes be taking them offsite to participate in external activities but SiTC members of staff will be with them at all times.
These sessions are open to boys and girls aged 11 and 12 years of age only.
