The basis of our daily schedule are different sports and activities; ones which your child may have played before and others that they may never have tried if they didn’t come to Summer in the City. Everyday is different which helps to keep all our campers engaged and excited. As our schedule is so varied, it’s difficult to describe what your child will be doing but below you can find an example of a fun filled day.
When children arrive, they are separated into their age groups and then each group begins their day with warm up games. This helps your child to feel more relaxed in the camp environment, get into the camp spirit and make new friends everyday.
All our campers will have an hour for lunch and the rest of the afternoon is filled with opportunities to experience other sports and fun activities. There will be a choice every session so that they can pick what activity/sport they wish to take part in. We endeavour to get our campers out into the fresh air as much as possible rather than staying inside.
Mondays: Arts and Crafts session.
Tuesdays: Film production/Movie making session.
Wednesdays: Summer in the City Talent show.
Thursdays: WATER FIGHT (We try to run this regardless of the weather so come prepared!). Arts and Crafts.
Friday: Dress up competitions and themed activities.
Other sessions are filled with various sports and activities which includes but is not limited to, Football, Hockey, Rugby, Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball, Tennis, Swedish Long Ball, Rounders, King Ball, Hip-Hop/Dancing, Balloon Modelling, Drama and much much more!
